as mir noch dringend fehlt ist die Deaktivierung der Zündung aktiv-Meldung im AID wenn Fahrertür offen. Die Codierung vom 7er passt leider nicht.
Hello Stefan:
It is possible (and not difficult) to change the coding to stop the sound alert (beeping noise) when the driver door is opened with the ignition (Terminal 15 power) on - in other words, with the engine operating. I did this with my 2024 Golf, North American specification.
But, after several days, I realized that this was not really a good idea, because of the risk of leaving the ignition on unintentionally and then walking away from the car.
On the old 7 Series, you knew that the engine was running when you opened the door with the ignition on because you could both hear and feel the engine running. There was no risk that you would walk away from the car with the engine running. The new 8 series has the automatic engine start-stop feature. This means that when you put the transmission in Park, the engine will stop to conserve fuel. With the engine turned off by the automatic start-stop feature, it is possible to open the door and walk away from the car with the ignition unintentionally left on. I did this twice during the first few days I had the warning tone turned off.
The warning tone for ignition on with driver door open is more intelligent on the 8 Series than it was on the 7 Series. It will only make about 10 chime sounds if you leave the door open, then it will stop making sounds. If you then close the driver door and open it again (during the same ignition on cycle), it will only make 2 chime sounds for the second (and all subsequent) cycles of driver door being opened and closed.
So, my suggestion based on my experience is that we do not disable this 'Door open with Ignition On' chime on the 8 Series vehicles.
But, if you really want to do it, it is simple:
1. Open controller 17 (Instrument Cluster)
2. Go to the adaptation channel "Clamp Control"
3. For the parameter 'Ignition Active Message', select 'no display.
